Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of ReviewWheel's Services and is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination (Terms §13–14). If you see prohibited activity, report it to [email protected].
1. Your core responsibility
ReviewWheel sends review requests on your behalf to your own Consumers. You are responsible for ensuring every contact you upload, connect, or message is one you have the right to contact, and for using the Services lawfully.
2. Messaging and contact lists — prohibited
You may not:
- upload, connect, or message contacts that are not your own past or present customers with whom you have an established business relationship;
- use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or otherwise non-consented contact lists;
- send messages to anyone who has opted out, or override or ignore opt-out (STOP/unsubscribe) requests;
- send messages in violation of the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, A2P 10DLC carrier requirements, or other applicable US law;
- misrepresent the sender or the purpose of a message, or send deceptive, harassing, or unsolicited bulk messages (spam).
3. Reviews — prohibited (Google policy compliance)
You may not use the Services to:
- solicit or post fake, fraudulent, or incentivized reviews, or reviews from anyone who is not a genuine customer;
- "gate" reviews — i.e., filter, screen, or suppress customers based on anticipated sentiment, or route negative feedback away from public review platforms;
- offer payment or rewards in exchange for reviews;
- otherwise violate Google's review and Business Profile policies. Violations can result in the permanent loss of your Google Business Profile — and we will suspend accounts that attempt them.
4. Platform and security — prohibited
You may not:
- access or use the Services in violation of any law or third-party right;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, probe, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Services or their infrastructure;
- introduce malware or interfere with other customers' use;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Services to third parties except your own business use;
- circumvent usage limits, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions;
- use the Services to build or train a competing product, or to benchmark for a competitor.
5. Content — prohibited
You may not upload or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that you lack the right to use.
6. Eligibility
The Services are for US-based businesses only and are not for consumer or personal use, or for use by anyone under 18 (Terms §1). You may not use the Services from outside the United States.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or report activity to authorities. We may act immediately where activity poses legal risk or threatens the Services, other customers, or third parties. We are not obligated to monitor but may do so.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time; the updated version posts with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
